Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale and use of products and services offered by Ubeba Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) through our website, market stalls, TikTok Shop, or other sales channels. By placing an order with us, you (“you”, “the customer”) agree to be bound by these terms. We recommend that you read them carefully before making a purchase.

Our Products

Ubeba Limited sells food-grade Ube powder in 250g pouches (seller to consumer, may be in larger quantities with wholesale orders). We take all reasonable care to ensure product descriptions, prices, and information are accurate. Images are for illustrative purposes only; actual product packaging may vary. Food Safety Products are sealed for freshness and food safety. Once opened, returns cannot be accepted for hygiene reasons. Always check ingredients and allergens before use. Store in a cool, dry place and follow any usage instructions on the label.

Ordering and Payment

Orders can be made through our official website, market stalls, or Ubeba’s TikTok Shop. Payment is accepted via Stripe, PayPal, or Tide (for in-person stall payments). All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. Once payment is confirmed, you will receive an order confirmation via email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if: (1) A product is out of stock. (2) Payment is not authorised or suspected fraudulent activity occurs. (3). There is an error in product information or pricing.

Delivery

Delivery is currently available within the United Kingdom. We plan to expand to European destinations in the future; any such orders will follow applicable customs and import regulations. Estimated delivery times will be provided at checkout, but delays may occur beyond our control (e.g. postal delays, strikes, customs checks). Risk of damage or loss passes to you once the parcel is delivered to your address. We aim to have your orders dispatched within 2-5 working days.

Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Returns

Due to the nature of food products, we cannot accept returns for opened or unsealed pouches. You may return unopened, sealed products within 14 days of receipt for a refund. To request a return, contact us at hello@ubeba.co.uk with your order number. Ubeba can only accept returns from the person who bought the item.

Refunds

Refunds will be processed within 14 working days of receiving the returned item. Refunds will be made to the original payment method. We reserve the right to deduct shipping costs if the return is not due to our error, i.e. if returning the product due to no longer wanting the purchased item(s).

Cancellations

You have the right to cancel your order before dispatch. Once an order has been shipped, it must follow the return policy above.

Wholesale Orders

Ubeba Limited also supplies products to wholesale and business customers. Separate pricing and terms may apply. Wholesale clients should contact us directly for details at hello@ubeba.co.uk. All wholesale orders are subject to written agreement and invoice terms.

Age Restrictions

Our products are intended for individuals aged 18 years or older. By purchasing, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Intellectual Property

All content, branding, text, images, packaging designs, and marketing materials are the intellectual property of Ubeba Limited. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without prior written permission.

Liability

Ubeba Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use or misuse of our products. Our liability is limited to the value of the product purchased. We do not guarantee that our website or online services will be error-free or uninterrupted. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for: Death or personal injury and allergies caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Any rights you are entitled to under UK consumer law.

Data Protection and Privacy

Ubeba Limited complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018.

Personal Data

We collect only necessary personal information to process orders and provide customer service (e.g. name, address, contact details such as phone numbers and emails).

Marketing and Newsletters

If you choose to subscribe to our email list, we will use your data to send promotional offers and product updates.You may unsubscribe at any time by following the link in any email or contacting us directly.

Data Security

Force Majeure

Ubeba Limited is not responsible for delays or failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control (including natural disasters, strikes, transport disruptions, or government restrictions).

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.

Statutory Consumer Rights (Consumer Rights Act 2015)

Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, customers have legal rights when buying goods online. These include:

Goods of satisfactory quality — items must meet a standard that a reasonable person would consider satisfactory, taking into account their description, price and condition.
Fit for purpose — goods must be fit for the purposes they are supplied for and any specific purpose made known before purchase.
As described — goods must match their description on this website.

These rights are in addition to your other rights under UK law and cannot be limited or excluded.
