Delicious Ube Latte Recipes for Dairy and Non-Dairy Lovers

Ingredients (makes 1 serving)

  • 1 cup milk of choice (cow, oat, almond, soy, or coconut)

  • 1–2 tsp ube powder (adjust to taste)

  • 1–2 tsp sweetener (sugar, honey, maple syrup, or condensed milk)

  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract (optional)


Hot Ube Latte

  1. Heat the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until warm but not boiling.

  2. Whisk in ube powder, sweetener, and vanilla extract until fully dissolved and smooth.

  3. Pour into your favorite mug.

  4. Optional: top with whipped cream or a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg for extra indulgence.


Iced Ube Latte

  1. In a small bowl, mix ube powder with 2–3 tbsp of warm milk to make a smooth paste.

  2. Fill a glass with ice.

  3. Pour the remaining cold milk over the ice.

  4. Stir in the ube paste until fully combined.

  5. Sweeten to taste.

  6. Optional: top with boba pearls, whipped cream, or drizzle with caramel or chocolate syrup.


Optional Add-ons for Latte

  • Coffee: Add ¼ cup brewed espresso or strong coffee for an ube coffee twist

  • Matcha: Sprinkle a tiny pinch of matcha powder for a layered flavor

  • Boba: Tapioca pearls or popping boba for texture

  • Syrups: Vanilla, caramel, chocolate, or coconut syrup
