Delicious Ube Latte Recipes for Dairy and Non-Dairy Lovers

Ingredients: (makes 1 serving)

  • 1 cup of milk (skimmed, oat, almond, soy or coconut)

  • 1-2 tsp of Ubeba's ube powder 

  • 1-2 tsp sweetener (optional: sugar, honey, maple syrup, vanilla extract)

Hot Ube Latte:

  1. Take 1-2 tsp of Ubeba's ube powder in a small bowl and add a dash of warm water. 

  2. Mix well with a whisk to make a smooth paste.

  3. Place your milk in a milk frother to warm, alternatively warm your milk in a saucepan over medium heat or by placing your mug in a microwave. Warm your milk, do not boil.

  4. Transfer contents onto a mug with your favourite milk.

  5. Optional: top your ube latte with whipped cream, or the above optional sweeteners for extra indulgence. 


Iced Ube Latte:

  1. Take 1-2 tsp of Ubeba's ube powder in a small bowl and add a dash of warm water. 

  2. Mix well with a whisk to make a smooth paste.

  3. Fill a glass with ice.

  4. Pour cold milk over the ice.

  5. Stir in the ube paste until fully combined. 

  6. Optional: top your ube latte with whipped cream, or the above optional sweeteners for extra indulgence.​


Optional Add-ons for Ube Latte

  • Coffee: Add a shot of coffee for a caffeine boost.

  • Matcha: Sprinkle a tiny pinch of Matcha powder or add Matcha paste (made similarly to ube paste as explained above) for layered flavour.

  • Boba: Tapioca pearls or popping boba for texture.

  • Syrups: Vanilla, caramel, chocolate or coconut syrup.

  • Whipped cream: Dairy or non-dairy

  • Dusting of Ube powder or Cinnamon
